Snoop Dogg Launches ‘Sweepstakes’ Online Casino

Despite a growing crackdown on so-called “sweepstakes” casinos and sportsbooks, music icon Snoop Dogg has launched his own version of the product.

On Thursday, Snoop Dogg and the Boston-based gambling technology firm Trivelta announced the launch of the sweepstakes platform, which also includes a so-called “social” (i.e., free-play) version.

The gambling platform is called Dogg House Casino, and it will cause addiction and financial harm to some users. Sweepstakes casinos use a controversial dual-currency model.

Social casinos, such as NFL Super Bowl Slots, mimic gambling and can also cause immense harm. Snoop’s product launch came in the wake of James Harden’s controversial partnership with a gambling site.

Platform Advertised as ‘Innovative’

“For the first time, players can step into a casino built exactly the way I wanted it,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “The music, the vibe, the games. I wanted something innovative, immersive, and fun, and Trivelta worked with Deathrow Games to help me bring that to life.”

The platform will play Snoop’s music while players gamble.

Trivelta CEO Carson Hubbard said in a statement that Snoop is “deeply involved in the product.”

“Snoop shaped the look, sound, and feel of Dogg House Casino to create something that sits at the intersection of iGaming, music, and culture,” Hubbard said.

Various casino games will be branded with Snoop’s name — such as “Snoop Blackjack” and “Snoop Poker.” In total, the casino has over 500 games.

How Does Snoop Dogg Casino Work?

The announcement said that Dogg House Casino operates its dangerous free-to-play version in all 50 U.S. states.

The casino said it does not offer its sweepstakes gambling in California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, or Tennessee.

Some of those states have either criminalized sweepstakes casinos or taken enforcement actions against the dual-currency platforms.

GamblingHarm.org expects more states to crack down on sweepstakes casinos in 2026.

All forms of online casino gambling are highly addictive and can prey on vulnerable users.
